Course Description

Course Description:

“Sensory Brain Development” is a 4-hour class that makes sense of the diagnostic and therapeutic neurological mysteries that our patients bring to us. When we have the awareness of the essential neurodevelopmental processes, we can decipher the signals in front of us and help our patients reorganize in the ways that make sense to their neurodynamics.

In this class, therapists will learn:

  • The fundamental rhythms of embryological development
  • How disruptions in early rhythms may contribute to sensory dysfunction or developmental delays
  • Neurological differences between “wiring” and “willfulness”
  • Theories and practice of neural plasticity: “Re-wiring” the brain
  • Neurosensory regulation in therapeutic interventions
  • Intervention strategies for somatic, sensory and social brain issues
  • Simple focusing techniques for your own stress relief!

“Sensory Brain Development” offers you the theory and practice that illuminates and transforms your work, from pediatrics to chronic pain, and so much more. Join us as we make sense of the mysteries and restore and revitalize the lives of our patients.
